Day 59

Ava and cousin Caroline. It doesn't look like it in this picture, but they had fun playing together for a little while. At one point they were both laying on a play mat and kept giving each other toys. So cute! I can't wait until they are just a little older and really enjoy playing together!

Today when I came home for lunch, I opened up our gas bill. I was shocked to see it was $150 more than it was last month! So I went and looked at our meter, not knowing exactly what I was reading. But I knew something had to be wrong. Good thing I have a connection at the gas company! ;) So, I snapped this picture and figured someone at work would be able to read it for me. I took my bill and camera down stairs to customer service and the lady I went to read it, and sure enough, and it was almost 100 units less than what was on my bill. I'm glad I decided to investigate!

During her afternoon nap, Ava slept with her head on her hands, resulting in two finger imprints on her foreheard. You can see one of them really well in this picture.

A few weeks ago, a car came plowing down our street and ran into the light pole that stands between ours and our neighbor's yard. It completely knocked the pole over and caused the fixture to fly off into the neighbor's brand new car! She also tried to leave but thankfully the neighbors were home and got her. They just got around to fixing the light today so this was parked outside our house while I was home for lunch.

On my way home for lunch, my sister called me and asked how far I was from home. I told her I was less than a minute away and she said "Good. Ava fell asleep and I don't want to move her before you see her." So I walked in the door, and found her asleep like this. Thankfully, she wasn't like this but for a minute. Funny kid!
